Dubai

So Molly wanted me to let everyone know that she is still alive and well and she apologizes for not writing in awhile. Her ship pulled into Dubai recently and she was having too much fun to write a blog post. While there, they saw the "7 star" hotel and checked out lots of malls including Ski Dubai (pic below), which was recently featured on The Amazing Race.

They're pulling back into Dubai later this month and Molly has been trying to convince me to come visit. At first I thought she was crazy, but then I thought about it and looked at flights and decided "what the heck!" So I booked a flight to Dubai and will see Molly for her deployment midpoint!! The rest of the Desron staff thinks I'm crazy but Molly is pretty certain they're just jealous :)

Unlike my excursion to Panama Ciy last year, this deployment port visit is not a surprise, so no worries about talking to Molly about it!
